I am back! And I am super excited about this mini haul. I have been limiting my beauty purchases to save money for student loan payments and because of all the lovely holiday things I have been seeing, but I was near a London Drugs today and needed to finally treat myself and buy a couple things from my wishlist. Nyx is only in Rexall’s in Eastern Ontario where I am from, but here in the West they have London Drugs which sells it as well. I went in for a Butte Gloss I had been eyeing but walked out with others.
I went in looking for Maple Blondie which seems to be a neutral peachy-toned colour but all that was left was the tester tube so while looking around for a different colour I found this beauty and I am so glad I did. I have been looking for comfortable, my-lips-but-better colours to use at work where makeup is not super elaborately worn. This colour is amazing. I knew I loved the formula but only owned a coral, a pink and a red so this colour will easily become my everyday colour. It is my lip colour but glossy. It evens the colour of my lips but I am not afraid of it slipping around and looking strange. This shade is called Angel Food Cake and it is divine!
Next on my wishlist was this shadow from Nyx‘s new(ish) Prismatic Shadows line. This is the shade Bedroom Eyes (ooh la la) and it is stunning. It is a brown that is so shimmery and filled with golden flecks. It is a gorgeous colour and the shadow is super pigmented (rivaling Urban Decay and Lorac Pro shadows in my books).
Last was an impulse buy that I had seen online. This is a primer from Nyx. It is called Honey Dew Me Up. It is a primer that comes with a paddle applicator and contains honey (antiseptic), gold flakes (radiance booster) and collagen (smooths lines). I am excited to test this on my face and I can do a review later if people wish to see how this works.
Overall I am super pumped about this haul. There wasn’t a dud product yet and I am feeling no buyers remorse whatsoever. I will be having a Sephora haul soon since I have a 50$ coupon code to spend by September 30th so look for that soon as well as my September Faves since it is almost that time again!
Thank you all for reading!
