Haul: Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop

Hey everyone!

As mentioned in an earlier post I am currently on a no-buy from Sephora until November since I am unemployed. However, I have been holding out on buying a product for a while that I have been hearing nothing but good things about. I have been covering a Becca shimmering skin perfector. My only dilemma was which shade would look best on my skin. My Sephora does not carry Becca in store, so swatching was not an option. I was between moonstone and opal for the longest time but never pulled the trigger. That is until I heard of champagne pop, their collab with Jaclyn Hill. I had seen swatches prior to its release and it looked to be in between moonstone (pearly white shimmer) and opal (beige gold). It is limited edition so while I didn’t want to buy it now I figured I should because I would regret not having it. And I am glad I did. It sold out in the Canadian site within fifteen minutes and hasn’t restocked since (though it will be I’ve heard). So I am willing to accept this break of my no-buy and be happy I caved.

Champagne Pop comes in the usual Becca matte black packaging. It is a stunning shade. It is a peachy golden colour. I tried to take pictures but it does not capture its beauty at all. This looks like a colour that would be universally beautiful for all skin tones.

My Sephora promo code I used was for two deluxe Formula X nail polishes. I chose the colours Hercules and Riotous. I love this formula and these are generous samples.

Next I got five samples since it was during their pick five event.  I chose a Sephora eye makeup remover wipe, Origins eye cream (my fave), Make Up Forever hydrating primer sample, Dr Dennis Gross self tanner wipe, Make Up Forever gloss samples (which I have been wanting to test). I am happy with the samples and can’t wait to try the gloss and primer.

I recently went a traded in some items at Sephora (FAB gel and Sephora lip pencil from previous haul sadly..). So I will be sharing what I got instead.
